Other than the features that Kyrios offers that ActiveCampaign does not, there are a couple of primary differences between Kyrios and Active Campaign. Scroll down for even more differences.
CRM: ActiveCampaign’s CRM may work fine for some very small sales teams, but it is lacking in functionality for larger or more complex use cases. ActiveCampaign has very limited flexibility and customization.
As a business, you may need to track more information than basic contact information. Perhaps you want to keep information about customer preferences, orders, or even more detailed information to keep you from having to keep information on customers in multiple locations. ActiveCampaign cannot offer this with their basic CRM. Kyrios allows you the ability to add as much information as you need.
ActiveCampaign is also designed for email marketing and can integrate their limited CRM with the email workflows, which is good. However, ActiveCampaign does not offer project management or advanced CRM functionality. Kyrios does.
(For example: Imagine the ability for a customer to make a purchase.
You receive notification of the order. Instead of having to manually track everything and follow up, the system automatically sends the customer an order notification. The system would then place the order in an order tracking workflow and note the clients account of the order information. When you ship the order, you simply drag the customer's order card into the shipped category and the system will send the customer an email and text message letting them know the order was shipped. It will then notate the account that the order was shipped, convert the customer listing from prospect to customer in the system, add the customer to a follow up list, wait long enough to ensure the order was delivered, automatically send out review requests to the customer asking them to leave a review on Google or Facebook, add them automatically to future promotional email campaigns, and even send out warranty reminders if necessary.
Imagine the amount of time saved. That is the power of Kyrios.)
Complex Pricing: ActiveCampaign uses a tiered system based on the number of users and the number of contacts you have in the system. While, on the low end, they advertise prices as low as $29 per month, that is a very basic plan with only email sending, no CRM, and a handful of contacts.
You see, the real problem with this method is that it is penalizing as your company grows. If you need more users, it costs more money. If you need to add more contacts, it costs more money. And it's not just about contacts being customers, it is prospects as well.
Most importantly, ActiveCampaign is charging you for storage of your contacts whether you are sending anything to them or not! If you have 10,000 contacts, you are paying for storage of 10,000 contacts even if you never send a single email.
(For example: Imagine that you setup a lead magnet on your page that you want a few automated emails to go out to for conversion. You run a Facebook ad sending people to that. Over time, you get 3,000 people signup for your lead magnet. You're now getting busier with the leads so you have to hire another staff member or a VA and want to add a couple more people on your team to help with managing the business.
With Active Campaign, each of these things is increasing your monthly fee. What looked like a "cheap" option up front has now just become much more expensive. And this doesn't include any of the other add-ons!)
Kyrios Systems is fully customizable and can be tailored to fit your specific business processes and requirements. It was designed to encourages you to think outside the box and come up with innovative ways to use the platform.
