Why are we doing this?

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. - 1 Peter 4:10-11

We are all blessed in some way. Every day, we see businesses struggling with a variety of things. In fact, for years, we have spoken with businesses all over the globe. We make note of the challenges that each business talks to us about. (That's how we built Kyrios.) Running a business is hard. As a team, we discussed how we can help.

Interestingly, one of the things our CEO, David Hall, asks regularly is "What have you done today for someone who can't do something in return for you." For those of us who have worked with him for many years, one of the things we see regularly is how much time, effort, energy, and resources he puts into helping people who have no ability to pay for that help (or do anything in return...). It's his way of giving back to society and he calls it Lagniappe.

We are all blessed in some way. So the question we posed as a team is what can we do to help others? That's where we came up with the idea to give away some of the things that we have that so many businesses struggle with. No sales pitches. No expectations. Nothing requested in return (well... except for a survey afterward asking what was your favorite gift).

We are giving all of this to anyone who needs it. Think of Kyriosmas as our way of saying, “Thank you for all you do, and here’s a little holiday magic to make things easier.”
